Cooperation activities

MISA implements integration-based cooperation activities as part of the ‘Integration-based cooperation activities’ sub-activity of the ‘Activities supporting integration in Estonian society’ project of the European Social Fund.

Cooperation activities are joint activities that involve people living in different regions of Estonia, local authorities and private- and third-sector organisations with the aim of boosting the participation and inclusion of residents of Estonia, including permanent residents who are less successfully integrated (primarily young people between the ages of 17 and 26), in joint undertakings.

As a result of the activities that are implemented, cooperation between organisations involved in and supporting integration improves, there is greater contact between people from different backgrounds and awareness grows of cultural diversity.
