Group advisory sessions
Print page

During group advisory sessions, recommendations for individual language studies are provided in ‘therapy’ form, as part of which the attendees discover how to set language-learning goals, how to find the resources and opportunities they need and how to analyse their experience to date. Active communication with other group members is also utilised.

Every member of the group has the chance to take part in an advisory session that aims to:

  • showcase the opportunities of language immersion and shaping your own language environment (listening and speaking practice);

  • support language practice;

  • boost self-esteem by making participants believe that they can cope with Estonian; and

  • overturn preconceived notions that Estonian is so difficult to learn.

Note: Each participant can attend group advisory sessions a maximum of 15 times.

The sessions are held in Ida-Viru County and Tallinn. In order to take part you must first fill in a registration form. For further information on group advisory sessions and registration, call the free number 800 9999 or e-mail info@integratsiooniinfo.ee.

The operations of the Counselling Center form part of the ‘Development and implementation of advisory and information system’ activity of the ‘Activities supporting integration in Estonian society’ project of the European Social Fund.
